Oakland Athletics @ Milwaukee Brewers

Scheduled Start Time: 8:10 PM ET

Miller Park

(Sports Network) - Perhaps a return to the home field will be a cure for what ails right-hander Kyle Lohse on Tuesday night, when his Milwaukee Brewers host the Oakland Athletics in game two of a three-game interleague set at Miller Park.

The California native is winless in six starts since an April 22 defeat of the San Diego Padres - a stretch in which he's lost four times on the road.

He allowed six runs on eight hits in just 4 2/3 innings of his last outing away from home on May 30, when he dropped an 8-6 decision at Minnesota.

Lohse is 57-70 in 190 career appearances on the road, compared to 62-45 in 175 home appearances.

He's 1-3 in seven career meetings with Oakland.

The Athletics go with second-year righty A.J. Griffin, who's 3-3 in six road starts this season.

The 25-year-old had gone three starts without a loss, but was beaten, 5-2, in a 5 2/3-inning outing at San Francisco on May 30. He allowed four runs on five hits in that start, while walking one and striking out five.

Griffin has never faced the Brewers.

On Monday, Coco Crisp finished 4-for-5 with a solo homer and two runs scored and Brandon Moss also hit a solo shot as the Athletics crushed the Brewers, 10-2.

John Jaso had three hits and drove in two runs, while five other players drove in at least one run for the Athletics, who have won four straight and 15 of 17 overall.

Tommy Milone (6-5) allowed both runs on five hits over seven innings and struck out four in the victory.

'The at-bats we had most of the night were really good,' Oakland manager Bob Melvin said.

Rickie Weeks' two-run homer in the fifth accounted for Milwaukee's offense. Weeks appeared to homer again in the seventh, but after video review, the hit was ruled a triple after replay showed the ball did not break the barrier of the outfield wall.

Marco Estrada (4-4) was charged for five runs on nine hits over five-plus frames to absorb the loss.

'When you get behind the count a lot, you have to go back over the middle of the plate sometime,' Milwaukee manager Ron Roenicke said. 'And in a fastball count, it's hard to say how to pitch people when every hitter is a little bit different. You really have keep the ball down.'

The Athletics and Brewers last met in 2002, when Oakland won three straight games. They won six of the 11 games played in 1997, while Milwaukee last won the series, 7-5, in 1996.
