Philadelphia Phillies @ Milwaukee Brewers

Scheduled Start Time: 8:10 PM ET

Miller Park

(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia Phillies' current winning streak began with a Cliff Lee victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Phils hope for a repeat performance from Lee on Friday night when they shoot for their sixth straight victory in the second of four straight meetings with the Brewers.

After a dominating May, Lee picked up right where he left off in his first start of this month as he notched a victory over the Brewers last Sunday. He'll try for his second career victory versus the club on Friday evening.

Lee has gone 5-0 with a 1.54 earned run average over his last six starts, logging at least seven innings in each outing while walking just six to 40 strikeouts. Sunday's 7-5 win over Milwaukee was his third straight winning start.

The left-hander held the Brewers off the board for six innings before getting charged with three of the four runs Milwaukee scored in the eighth. Lee was lifted after 7 2/3 innings as he started to cramp up on the hot day.

'I guess I was a little dehydrated. Something. I don't know what the deal was ... Obviously, the heat is part of it. I tried to do everything I could to hydrate and it didn't seem to matter. It still happened,' Lee said.

'I wanted to stay in there and keep pitching, but at the same time I knew I wanted to be smart and use my head a little bit. It is what it is.'

Still, the Phillies held on and the 34-year-old improved to 7-2 with a 2.45 earned run average in 12 starts this season and 1-1 lifetime versus the Brewers with a 4.79 ERA in six outings against Milwaukee.

Philadelphia jumped out to a quick lead in Sunday's win over Milwaukee, getting to Brewers starter Mike Fiers for seven runs -- five earned -- over his 1 2/3 innings of work. Fiers found himself demoted to the minors the following day and right-hander Alfredo Figaro will replace him in the rotation.

Figaro relieved Fiers versus the Phillies and held the club to a pair of hits over 3 1/3 innings in facing them for the first time in his career. He was pitching for the first time since his only other start this season, a no- decision on May 28 versus Minnesota in which Figaro allowed four runs and three homers over five innings.

The 28-year-old has a 3.67 ERA without a decision in 17 total outings this season and his stay in the rotation could be short-lived with Chris Narveson nearing a return from a sprained left middle finger.

'When he's come in, he's done a pretty good job for us, and he's stretched out to a point,' manager Ron Roenicke said of Figaro on his club's website. 'Nobody in Triple-A is lighting it up to where we're saying, 'Let's bring him up.''

The Phillies picked up their season-high fifth straight victory in Thursday's opener, securing a 5-1 win thanks to 6 2/3 scoreless innings from Tyler Cloyd. His four-hit effort put Philadelphia above .500 (31-30) for the first time this season.

'Cloyd was very good. When he does that we have a real good chance of winning,' said Phillies manager Charlie Manuel.

Delmon Young hit a solo homer, John Mayberry went 3-for-5 with an RBI and Ryan Howard drove in a run as the Phils won for the 10th time in their past 13 in Milwaukee.
