Miami Marlins @ St. Louis Cardinals

Scheduled Start Time: 2:15 PM ET

Busch Stadium

(Sports Network) - Lance Lynn has yet to lose at home this season and Sunday the Cardinals right-hander tries to keep the streak intact when St. Louis goes for a three-game sweep of the Miami Marlins at Busch Stadium.

Lynn has fashioned a 6-0 mark over eight home appearances this season. He's 9-0 over his last 11 regular season outings in St. Louis, last losing at Busch Stadium on Sept. 7, 2012 versus Milwaukee.

Lynn, though, has suffered defeats in each of his last two starts, giving up a total of nine runs in 13 2/3 innings.

Jose Fernandez tries to follow up a spectacular start when he gets the ball for the Marlins. The rookie right-hander allowed two hits and fanned 10 over a career-high eight shutout frames against the Padres Monday.

Fernandez also had 10 strikeouts in a 5-4 win over the Cardinals in Miami on June 13. He's 3-1 over his last six starts. Since June 1, he's compiled a 1.34 ERA.

A win today by the Cardinals would give them their first home sweep of a three-game set against the Marlins since May 23-25, 2000.

On Saturday, Jon Jay scored the game-winning run on Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton's throwing error in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 5-4 final.

The Marlins sent A.J. Ramos (3-3) to the mound in the ninth. Following two quick outs, Jay walked. Pinch-hitter Shane Robinson followed with a single to right. Stanton's bad relay throw to first baseman Logan Morrison allowed Jay to score on the play.

'Whether it's strange or not how it happened, we'll take it. Gladly.' Cardinals manager Mike Matheny remarked.

Matt Adams hit a two-run homer for the Cardinals. Carlos Beltran and Matt Carpenter each added an RBI.

St. Louis starter Joe Kelly, making his second start of 2013, allowed four runs on five hits over six innings. Edward Mujica (1-1) tossed a scoreless ninth to pick up the win.

Morrison hit a two-run homer for the Marlins, who went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position. Derek Dietrich added a solo shot.

Miami starter Nathan Eovaldi gave up three runs on five hits over 6 2/3 frames.

On Saturday, the Marlins shipped veteran righty Ricky Nolasco to the Los Angeles Dodgers for three minor league pitchers. The rebuilding Marlins will receive Triple-A hurlers Josh Wall and Steven Ames as well as right-hander Angel Sanchez, while also sending the Dodgers their fourth-round slot (No. 96 overall) in the international bonus pool.

Nolasco, the Marlins' all-time leader in wins and strikeouts, had been the lone remaining high-salaried member of a Miami team that drastically cut its payroll during the offseason and is slated for free agency at the conclusion of the 2013 campaign.

The Cardinals have won three of the five meetings with Miami this season.
