Miami Marlins @ Milwaukee Brewers

Scheduled Start Time: 2:10 PM ET

Miller Park

(Sports Network) - Wily Peralta has sparkled in his last three starts. In fact, the Milwaukee Brewers right-hander has given up just one run in his last 21 1/3 innings over that span.

Sunday, Peralta hopes to pitch the Brewers to a three-game sweep of the Miami Marlins at Miller Park.

Peralta started last Sunday at Arizona and grabbed a 5-1 victory by allowing a run over seven innings. He had a streak of 19 1/3 scoreless innings broken in that game. He is 2-0 over his last three outings, but the Brewers are 9-11 in his starts this season.

Peralta is 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA in two career starts versus Miami.

Henderson Alvarez counters for the Marlins. The righty, who makes his fourth start of the season, didn't get a decision in his final start prior to the All-Star break. He threw 6 2/3 innings against Washington one week ago.

Alvarez, who was on the disabled list earlier this season due to right shoulder inflammation, has faced the Brewers just once in his career. He did not factor in the decision in a 7-6 loss for Toronto on June 18, 2012 at Miller Park.

Last night, Yovani Gallardo allowed just five hits and two walks over 6 1/3 innings as the Brewers earned a 6-0 win.

For the 27-year-old Gallardo (8-8), it was the first time he didn't allow a run since June 15 against the Reds. It was also just the fifth time he's pitched over six innings in 21 starts this season.

'Really nice job by the pitching staff,' said Brewers manager Ron Roenicke. 'Yovani had great command today. His curve was really good, as well as his fastball and slider. When we command the ball, we're really good.'

Jonathan Lucroy went 4-for-4 with two RBI and was a triple short of the cycle. Ryan Braun also drove in two runs for the Brewers, who have won three straight.

Miami starter Nathan Eovaldi (2-1) struggled, lasting just four innings. He surrendered all six runs on 10 hits and a pair of walks.

The Marlins have been shut out in both games of this series and are on a three-game losing streak.

'In all honesty, I thought we came out flat, especially offensively,' said Marlins manager Mike Redmond. 'I know the guys are trying but nothing is going right now. We're getting shut down.'

Milwaukee won two of three games when they most recently played at Marlins Park in June.
