Milwaukee Brewers @ Colorado Rockies

Scheduled Start Time: 8:10 PM ET

Coors Field

(Sports Network) - Collin McHugh gets an audition in the Colorado rotation tonight when the Rockies resume their three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Drew Pomeranz was supposed to start for the Rockies, but he was put on the 15- day disabled list Friday with left bicep tendinitis.

McHugh was acquired last month in the deal that sent Eric Young Jr. to the New York Mets, and has appeared in three games this year. The righty's only start came June 1 at Miami when he took the loss. This will marks his sixth lifetime start and just 12th appearance in the majors.

Tom Gorzelanny has yet to win in his four starts this season, going 0-3 with a 2.49 ERA. The southpaw has taken the loss the last four times he's been on the mound, including Monday against San Diego when he let up five hits and five runs in 5 2/3 innings.

Gorzelanny is 1-2 with an 8.64 ERA in 10 games (4 starts) against Colorado.

Last night, Tyler Chatwood had a career-high 11 strikeouts over seven innings and added a two-run double in Colorado's 8-3 win.

Chatwood (7-3) allowed six hits and a pair of runs. The right-hander has yielded more than two runs only twice in his 14 starts this season.

'His curveball was really sharp,' Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. 'His fastball was explosive and down. He has the slider he has a lot of confidence in now. He was really good.'

DJ LeMahieu knocked in two runs for the Rockies, who scored four times in both the second and fourth innings to even their homestand after eight games. Colorado has won nine of the last 11 versus Milwaukee.

Wily Peralta (7-10) surrendered seven hits and eight runs -- five earned -- over 3 2/3 innings to suffer his first loss this month. In four previous starts this month, the righty was 2-0 with a 0.31 ERA.

'He wasn't on his game. His command was off today,' Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said.

Carlos Gomez homered for Milwaukee, which lost for the fourth time in five games.

The Rockies took two of three meetings at Miller Park to open this season. Colorado has won nine of the last 11 versus Milwaukee.
