In 2006, Rocker appeared on Spike's "Pros vs. Joes," which pitted retired professional athletes against amateurs in sporting challenges.

Nate "Big Easy" Lofton and Herbert "Flight Time" Lang of the Harlem Globetrotters competed on Season 15 of "The Amazing Race." Their strength helped them excel in some of the more strenuous challenges, but Big Easy's height also proved a detriment. They returned for the "all-star" season — "The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business" — which brought back fan favorites who did not win the first time around.

The 2010 World Series champions were the subject of a "Hard Knocks"-type reality show on Showtime called “The Franchise.” Working with Major League Baseball Productions, Showtime cameras followed the Giants from spring training through the 2011 season. Season 2 of the series focused on the new-look 2012 Marlins. The Fish made plenty of splashy offseason moves and were playing in a new stadium this season under controversial manager Ozzie Guillen. Their disappointing season cut short the show's run and at the end of the season, Guillen was fired and most of hte team's stars were traded to the Toronto Blue Jays.

In March 2012, Johnson and Evelyn Lozada headlineed a VH1 reality series to chronicle their journey to the altar. The latter show was quickly canceled after Johnson was charged with domestic violence and booted off the Miami Dolphins (chronicled on HBO's "Hard Knocks").
