News: LeMahieu paced the Rockies' 10-run attack with three hits, three RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the White Sox. Impact: LeMahieu's two-run single opened up the floodgates in a six-run eighth inning and provided a needed spark at the bottom of the order. While the call-up of Josh Rutledge earlier in the day would seem on the surface to be a threat to LeMahieu, Rutledge is mostly in the fold as insurance for Troy Tulowitzki, who recently suffered a pulled groin.(RotoWire, )

News: LeMahieu went 1-for-3 with two runs scored in Friday's 12-2 romp over the Diamondbacks. Impact: LeMahieu's nice day at the plate was overshadowed by the performances of Charlie Blackmon and Michael Cuddyer, who went a combined 9-for-11 with six RBI and six runs scored out of the top two spots in the order. With the Rockies getting magnificent production from the top of the order so far this season, LeMahieu will remain locked into the eighth spot in the order, limiting his chances of picking up runs even if his batting average proves useful.(RotoWire, )

News: LeMahieu is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins, Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports. Impact: LeMahieu will be held out in favor of Charlie Culberson. LeMahieu got off to a bit of a slow start, going just 2-for-11 through the first three games, but he remains the Rockies' primary second baseman moving forward.(RotoWire, )
