News: Odorizzi is the likely candidate to step into the Rays' rotation for David Price on Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Impact: While the Rays haven't made an official announcement, Odorizzi will be on regular rest to take Price's place Monday and he's fared well other than two homer-prone starts at Triple-A Durham this season with a 47:15 K:BB over 44.2 innings en route to a 3.83 ERA and 4-0 record.(RotoWire, )

News: Odorizzi threw seven no-hit innings with four walks and three strikeouts in a win for Triple-A Durham on Sunday. Impact: Odorizzi combined with three other pitchers to throw a team no-hitter despite one earned run being allowed after he left the game. He was also named the International League Pitcher of the Week with the performance. Through six starts this season, Odorizzi is off to a 3-0 start with a 2.65 ERA and is averaging 10.3 K/9. Despite the hot start, Odorizzi still may be behind fellow pitching prospect Chris Archer in line to be called up to the rotation if the opportunity were to arise at some point in the season.(RotoWire, )
