News: Dickerson was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. Impact: Dickerson made the Opening Day roster but was optioned to Colorado Springs after the first week of the season. He'll help with outfield depth and could see some playing time, but a red-hot (and left-handed hitting) Charlie Blackmon has been getting most of the starts in center field, while Drew Stubbs still figures to see some playing time against left-handed pitching. To make matters even worse, the Rockies are carrying six outfielders, with Brandon Barnes also on the roster.(RotoWire, )

News: Dickerson was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs, reports. Impact: Dickerson has appeared in three of the Rockies' seven contests to date, including one start. Overall, though, he totaled just five at-bats, with one single, one walk, one stolen base, and two runs to his name. An injury or general ineffectiveness among others in the big club's outfield are likely the sole precursors to a callup later in the season.(RotoWire, )

News: Dickerson made his first start of the year Thursday in Miami, going 1-for-3 with a walk, a steal and two runs. Impact: He ended up being replaced by Drew Stubbs for defensive purposes later in the game. Dickerson's got noteworthy offensive upside in Colorado, but he'll need to wrestle outfield playing time away from Stubbs, Charlie Blackmon and/or Brandon Barnes.(RotoWire, )
