News: Hart isn't in the starting lineup Saturday against the A's, Greg Johns of reports. Impact: Hart had himself a two-homer game Tuesday, but it seems that his biceps issue still requires some maintenance. The M's are likely being mindful of the workload on his knees as well, so he may continue to sit here and there. Logan Morrison will DH on Saturday.(RotoWire, )

News: Hart put the Mariners on his back Tuesday, completing a Seattle comeback with two homers against the Angels. His first was a three-run shot in the third and he added a solo bomb in the seventh. Impact: The 6-6 DH put on quite a show for Mariners fans in their home opener, putting up his 15th-career multi-home run game. He has sat three of eight games this year to rest his ailing bicep, but looked no worse for wear in smacking his second and third home runs of the season. Hart now owns a .227 batting average over five games and should return to his regular spot in the outfield soon enough.(RotoWire, )

News: With the Mariners already off Monday, Hart was given the day off Sunday to rest his sore biceps. Impact: With Hart out, Logan Morrison started at DH and Michael Saunders in right field. "It's a great opportunity to get him two days off, get him freshened up and ready for the home opener," manager Lloyd McClendon said. "I think the light is starting to flick a little bit for him. You can see the hands starting to quicken up; he's starting to recognize breaking balls a little better. He's still not quite over the hump with the tissue issue with his bicep, but he's getting there. I just want to be careful with him and keep him moving forward. The opportunity to give him two days off just makes sense."(RotoWire, )

News: Hart hit his first home run of the season Wednesday as the Mariners completed a season-opening series sweep of the Angels. Impact: After sitting in the opener, Hart played the last two nights with left-handers on the mound. He's not in a strict platoon, but manager Lloyd McClendon likely will use matchups to rest players. Hart played DH both games, which likely will be the norm early in the season, as the Mariners try to keep him healthy.(RotoWire, )
