News: Wilson turned in another outstanding performance Sunday, allowing two runs on six hits in seven innings to pick up a win over the Mets. Impact: Wilson also picked up nine strikeouts in the contest, and while some of those may be attributable to an inexperienced umpire behind the plate, they are tallied in the stat column nonetheless. Wilson has looked sharp in back-to-back outings after giving up six runs in 5.2 frames in his first start of the season against the Mariners on April 1.(RotoWire, )

News: Wilson got the win after an impressive showing Monday against the Astros, limiting them to four hits and one run - a Carlos Corporan homer - over eight innings of work. He also struck out seven. Impact: Wilson looked much better than he did in his season debut when he allowed six runs in 5 2-3 innings against Seattle. He's racked up 15 strikeouts in 13 2-3 innings thus far.(STATS, 6:14pm)

News: Wilson threw the first knuckleball of his career in a win against the Astros on Monday, MLB.com reports. Impact: Wilson didn't exactly need a new pitch in his arsenal to beat the Astros on Monday, as he pitched eight innings of one-run ball with seven strikeouts, but decided to throw a knuckler to Jesus Guzman with two outs in the seventh inning. The pitch came in at 80 miles per hour and was called a ball. Though he says he has been working on it, Wilson is unlikely to add the pitch to his repertoire, as he was "just out there having fun," Monday.(RotoWire, )

News: Wilson turned in a dominating performance against the Astros on Monday, giving up a solo home run in eight innings pitched while allowing four hits and striking out seven to collect his first win of the season. Impact: A two-out home run by Carlos Corporan in the eighth inning Monday deprived Wilson of a possible shutout, but it didn't put a damper on the hurler's day, as he walked just one batter in the contest. Wilson has really shown off his strikeout pitch in the first two starts of the season, as he now has punched out 15 in his first 13.2 innings pitched. The left-hander will look to keep blowing away hitters in his next start against the Mets on Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Wilson labored into the sixth inning for the Angels in Tuesday's loss to the M's. Impact: Wilson was tagged for six runs although he struck out eight to partially redeem himself for fantasy owners.(STATS, 5:27pm)

News: Wilson (0-1) gave up six runs on eight hits (including a home run) in 5.2 innings in a loss against the Mariners on Tuesday. Impact: Wilson looked sharp at times Tuesday, as he struck out eight while issuing just two walks, but couldn't avoid the big inning, as he allowed a three-run double to Justin Smoak to cap a four-run frame in the top of the third. Though there were positives to be found in the outing, Wilson doesn't seem to have kicked the inefficiency problem that plagued him last season, as he needed a whopping 114 pitches to finish his night. The 33-year-old will look to improve on the shaky performance when he takes on the Astros in his second start of the season Monday.(RotoWire, )
