News: Davis is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals, according to Chris Iott of MLive.com. Impact: With the Tigers facing left-hander Jason Vargas on Wednesday, it is a bit surprising that Davis, who hits right-handed, will sit in favor of Tyler Collins, who hits left-handed. However, both Tigers reserve outfielders hit from the left side, and it appears Davis is just getting two straight days of rest after dealing with a hamstring injury late in the spring. Expect an update on Davis' status if it turns out he is being held out for another reason.(RotoWire, )
