News: Young picked up his second three-hit game of the season, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs in Tuesday's rout of the Diamondbacks. Impact: The speedster is one of the more productive leadoff men so far this season, as his 11 runs -- all of which have come in the last seven games -- put him in the top 10 in all of baseball. His seven swipes also trail only the Dodgers' Dee Gordon, so it might be time to start paying attention to the switch-hitting outfielder. If you're considering picking him up, don't expect much in the power department, however: Young has just seven long ones in 1186 career at-bats.(RotoWire, )

News: Young went 2 for 3 with two runs scored Monday. Impact: Young has a .597 OPS so you don't want to use him.(STATS, 6:01pm)

News: Young went 2-for-3 with two runs, a stolen base, and a walk Monday against the Diamondbacks, while teammates Juan Lagares (hamstring) and Curtis Granderson (rib/forearm/knee) left with injuries, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Impact: Young has started 11 consecutive games, but the expected April 18 return of Chris Young (quad) could put his playing time into question. If either Granderson or Lagares requires a disabled-list stint, Young would likely continue in an everyday role. He owns a poor .217/.315/.284 line through 56 plate appearances, but his seven stolen bases match Emilio Bonifacio's for second-best in all of baseball.(RotoWire, )

News: Young got three hits, stole three bases and scored four times as the New York Mets overcame Justin Upton's two home runs to beat the Atlanta Braves 6-4 on Thursday night. Impact: Young is 7 for 19 (.368) in his last five games after starting the season 0 for 12 with six strikeouts.(STATS, 7:03pm)

News: Young had his best game of the season Thursday, going 3-for-5 with four runs scored and three steals. Impact: Young can be a terror on the basepaths, and he's now got five steals in his last three games.(RotoWire, )

News: Young had his first two steals of the season Tuesday against the Braves, finishing 2-for-4 with a walk and a RBI. Impact: Young's owners have him primarily for his speed on the bases, but he'd been getting on base just 14.3 percent of the time heading into action Tuesday, meaning he didn't have many opportunities for steals. His speed is by far his top tool, and he will need to continue reaching base, even at a modest rate, to allow it to play up.(RotoWire, )

News: Young is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Nationals, Jared Diamond of the Wall Street Journal reports. Impact: With Chris Young returning to the lineup Wednesday after sitting out Monday with a quad injury, EY Jr. will head to the bench for the day. Young is expected to remain in a timeshare with Juan Lagares in the outfield to begin the season.(RotoWire, )
