News: Reddick turned in a second consecutive three-hit performance Saturday, going 3-for-5 with a walk-off single in a 4-3 win over the Astros. Impact: All three hits were singles, but the last two games have still been very encouraging, as Reddick has quickly boosted his batting average from .098 to .200. If confidence was part of the problem, he should have plenty of it coming off back-to-back three-hit games and a walk-off winner. With the A"s slated to face Astros right-hander Brad Peacock on Sunday, Reddick will very likely be back in the lineup.(RotoWire, )

News: Reddick went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run Friday against the Astros. Impact: Reddick started out his evening by knocking opposing pitcher Jarred Cosart out of the game with his first-inning home run, and continued to rake at the plate after that. Prior to Friday's game, Reddick was just 4-for-41 to start the season, so his three hits Friday nearly matched his season total.(RotoWire, )

News: Reddick will be in Saturday's lineup, reports Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Impact: There had been rumors that Reddick was going to Triple-A when Craig Gentry returns this weekend, but Reddick being in Saturday's lineup puts those rumors to bed. With Seattle's Felix Hernandez on the mound Friday night, Melvin figured this was not a good spot to re-insert Reddick into the lineup. Reddick has had a brutal start to the season on offense, but still provides a lot of value to the A's with his Gold Glove-level defense.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Reddick went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts in Wednesday's game and is just 3-for-29 (.103) to start the season, so manager Bob Melvin decided to give him a day off Thursday. News: Reddick was 0-for-4 on Saturday to drop his average to .100. Impact: This was not the start Reddick wanted coming off his difficult 2013 season. It is still way too early to get too concerned about him, but he does have eight strikeouts already in his first 20 at-bats.(RotoWire, )
