Impact: Hermida is eligible for arbitration after making $2.25 million last season, so he was too expensive for the Marlins. He's disappointed the last two seasons amid his usual injuries, but there's upside here given his strong on-base skills in the past. Being able to DH may also help him get more at-bats in Boston, but he'll likely enter 2010 as a reserve outfielder.
