Impact: The Reds botched the endgame in multiple ways on Friday. Homer Bailey was awesome through seven innings, but was allowed to bat to lead off the bottom of the inning. Then he allowed a hit and a walk while retiring one batter in the eighth. Arthur Rhodes walked the next batter to load the bases before Weathers came in to face Pujols. There were so many decisions that could be questioned, even before the ultimate question - why pitch to Pujols at all, given the struggles of the other Cardinals hitters?
