Bonafide ace. Pitched exceptionally well ALL season and could of easily won 25 games if the Mets offense didnt stink it up for his starts in the first half of the season. <br /><br />If he stays injury free (always an if for pitchers) I could see him taking down 22 wins ans a Cy Young this season. <br /><br />Will it help the Mets get over the Phillies and into the playoffs? That's left to be seen.

I think Lincecum earned the Cy Young this year, but man, Johan sure is great.<br /><br />Incredible over the second half this year, even with the crappy bullpen.

Great pitcher but the guy has one 20 once, the Twins were good during his time there, and has only 9 complete games. Hold up on putting him in the HOF for right now.

Sorry Santana fans but this is what you can expect from here on out. He has torn labrum in his throwing shoulder! MN Twins did the right thing in getting value in players vs. letting him go like Hunter!<br />Watch him blow up the rest of the year!

Johan is still the best pitcher I've seen in a lot of years. Still waiting, though to see IF Liriano can make it back. He has the potential to be even better...remember, Liriano HAD a better record than Santana until he hurt his arm!!! Santana NEVER lost a game I ever went to here in MN. Met him a few times. Used to detail his QX56 for him when he came in for service.<br />I DO miss seeing Santana on the mound here in MN with the TWINS! (Imagine the TWINS this year WITH Santana!!)

ya how is he over rated he still is one of the top guys in e.r.a. the only reason he isnt near the top in wins is cuz the mets sucked at giving him run support but now that they r on a role it should be interesting
