Hey BOY, if you can't hit the ball, you are making 14.4 million dollars too much. Try earning your money stupid and give the Astros a chance to win. HAVE YOU NO PRIDE? I don't think so. Berkman for " A " ball.

Man, I spent a year in Detroit a few years back when they celebrated their 300th birthday. What a dump that city is. The only thing you can be a fan of in that town is the Detroit Metro Airport, because when you go there you know you're one step closer to getting the hell out of that toilet of a city.

the only way that fat miggy will ever steal a base is if the grounds crew puts one in his locker for him

Don't sweat it Turbodog. TigersFan is a lush who only posts on the pages of players he wishes were Tigers. Coincidentally, Cabrera is 240 Ibs and Puma is 220. Technically, that makes Miggy the fat arse. I wonder which of the two of them is having an MVP caliber season and which one of them appears to be grossly overpaid and not in the top five in all star voting... hmmm...

you guys wouldn't come here to check Berkman's stats if you didn't think he was an MVP type hitter. I checked Miggy's page only to lookup his weight since tigger fan brought it up.

Vpizzl? Jealous of what? that low-A pitching staff? Please...

awe poor tigers fan upset bc miggy is a fat arse. its cool playa the tigers will still suck if he was in shape. turbodog, i understand but bringing his personnal life in it, is a little extreme

I cant believe this guy can steal bases too. Thats amazing. What a player.

chadlock, I think it's fair to say we're all nobody's here, just spectators who like to BS about the game. Anyway my good friend is a die-hard Braves fan, so it's sort of habit to spout off about anything having to do with the Braves.

Tigger fan, lay off the pipe. Yeah if the season consisted of only the last couple games played you might have an argument. Cabrera is an over-rated fatty and the tiggers are back in the cellar with the Royals. deal with it...

tigersfan you are a ****. just bc we dont live in **** ass detriot, doesnt mean we have never seen baseball or cabrera play. i happen to live in san diego, and am from ohio, and have stayed in the ATL, so i am sure i have seen the game played and seen miggy play

turbodog his name is chipper, dont worry about his personnal life, i bet you have stuff going on that doesnt make you seem to great, but nobody cares bc you are a nobody. some chump that watches sports and runs his mouth about ppl that have more talent if they were in a coma then you will ever have

I'm sure if I ever met Larry I would unintentionally call him Chipper. I wonder what that 10 year old illegitimate calls him? cash cow?

tigerfan this just in caberra weighs 20 pounds more then berkman so whos breaking the scales?

chadlockchadlock
(Report inappropriate content)

Turbodog08, unless you know him in real life and are his drinking buddy you refer to him as chipper or mister jones. what he does in his personnal life has nothing to do with baseball. shooter i was just being sarcastic, puma is a beast but i am a huge braves fan and chipper is my fav. you understand. it would be remarkible if they keep this pace up. tigerfan caberra is fat and lazy and he may have a great carrer if he stops eating all the doughnuts

chadlockchadlock

tiggerfan, it's a well-known fact that Miggy is as lazy as they come and according to this site he checks in at 240. He was better off in FL where he could sweat away all the weight he gains in the off-season.

tigger fan, only if the fat lard is Miguel Cabrera

By the way, if both players continue at their current paces, Jones will score 110 runs, have 229 hits, 37 HR's and 102 RBI's. Berkman will score 152 runs, have 222 hits, 47 HR's and 140 RBI's. With those numbers, hands down, Berkman wins MVP over Jones.

chadlock: According to their Wikipedia bios, Berkman played on the Astros' minor league teams for 2 years. Jones played for the Braves' minor league teams for 3 years. I think the difference may be that Jones didn't play college ball.

On a per 162 game batting comparison, their stats are remarkably similar.
