Impact: Paul Sullivan, of The Chicago Tribune, reports Chicago Cubs SP Ryan Dempster (toe) could miss up to a month after breaking the big toe on his right foot Sunday, July 5. He has a non-displaced fracture of the toe and will eventually need to lose the nail on the toe. Dempster could miss as many as six or seven starts. He will wear a boot on his foot, which will allow him to continue to throw and keep his arm strength up.
