News: Dunn is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers. Impact: Dunn has served as the DH in each of Chicago's last seven games, but he will be held out Friday with left-hander Martin Perez on the mound for the Rangers. Paul Konerko will serve as the DH in Dunn's place.(RotoWire, )

News: Dunn went 2-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 9-6 romp over the Indians. Impact: It was Dunn's first multi-hit game of the season, and the second night in a row in which he drew two walks, boosting his on-base percentage to an excellent .412. The emergence of Jose Abreu has taken some of the power burden off Dunn this season and should create more run-creating opportunities as the campaign wears on.(RotoWire, )

News: Dunn is not in the lineup Monday against the Rockies. Impact: With the DH spot unavailable for the series in Chicago, Dunn doesn't figure to see much more than the occasional pinch-hitting opportunity off the bench over the next couple of days. Dunn is batting 3-for-16 to the start the season, though two of those hits have been home runs.(RotoWire, )

News: The White Sox have considered playing Dunn in left field for the approaching series in Colorado, although it "doesn't seem likely,"'s Scott Merkin reports. Impact: Dunn is off to a solid start from a power standpoint, as he's already launched two home runs in the young season. It's thus reasonable that manager Robin Ventura would consider alternative means to get his bat in the lineup, as the designated hitter slot won't be available in a National League ballpark. It would be tough to remove Alejandro De Aza from left field however, as he already has three homers this season and replacing him with Dunn would also result in a significant defensive drop-off.(RotoWire, )
