News: Eaton came out of Chicago's game at Texas on Saturday after coming up gimpy while running out a grounder. The White Sox said Eaton had a mild strain in his left hamstring. Impact: The inning-ending play in the fifth Saturday night came right after Eaton collided with Rangers first baseman Prince Fielder on a foul ball. It wasn't immediately clear if Eaton's injury was a result of the collision after Eaton hit a roller up the first-base line. Fielder fielded in foul territory just before Eaton ran into him. The batter's feet came off the ground, but he didn't fall down and showed no signs of problems at the time. (STATS, 10:18pm)

News: Eaton left Saturday's game against the Rangers in the fifth inning with a knee issue, not a mild left hamstring strain as originally reported, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Impact: This is not encouraging news for Eaton owners, as he left Friday's game as well with a strained hamstring before being declared fine to play Saturday. He went 0-for-3 at the dish before leaving with the ailment and will miss at least the next three days, according to manager Robin Ventura. Owners should monitor his status closely and cross their fingers that he avoids the DL. Eaton has 15 runs, 10 RBI, a homer and a .294 average in 18 games this season.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Eaton tweaked his left hamstring Friday and was removed in what was a blowout at the hands of the Rangers. However, the injury isn't serious enough to keep him out of center field and at the top of the order.(RotoWire, )
