News: Lind sounds like he'll miss a game at least, with the lower-back tightness that forced him from Tuesday's game, MLB.com's Gregor Chisholm reports. "I hope I feel better tomorrow, but that would be a miracle," Lind said after Tuesday's game. Impact: Josh Thole replaced him as the DH Tuesday, but the Blue Jays could go in any number of directions if Lind is out of the lineup Wednesday. Consider him day-to-day, but don't bank on him being in the lineup for at least another game.(RotoWire, )

News: Lind left Tuesday's game with lower-back tightness, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Impact: Lind, who finished 1-for-2 with a walk and a run, was replaced at designated hitter by Josh Thole. His owners should continue to monitor his progress Wednesday, as it's unclear if he'll have to miss further time.(RotoWire, )

News: Lind is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Rays, Sportsnet's Barry Davis reports. Impact: Although Lind posted a big night Tuesday against the Rays, going 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run and three RBI, manager John Gibbons will turn to Moises Sierra to occupy the DH spot with lefty Matt Moore on the mound. For all his successes in his bounce-back 2013 season, Lind still showed extreme vulnerability against lefties, batting .208/.240/.333 over 100 plate appearances last season. He should still continue to offer ample power potential vs. right-handers.(RotoWire, )

News: Lind hit his first home run of the season Tuesday, finishing 2-for-3 with three RBI and a walk against the Rays. Impact: The two-run bomb came of Alex Cobb in the first inning, and was a good way for Lind to make a first impression in 2014, as he was out of the lineup on Opening Day. He batted fifth Tuesday and should continue to do so when he's in the lineup.(RotoWire, )
