News: Escobar went 2-for-3 with two RBI and his first home run of the season in Sunday's 8-3 loss to the Twins. Impact: Escobar reached base a total of three times in the game, walking and doubling in two of his other four plate appearances. His batting average now sits at .298 for the season, and even if Escobar can just keep himself in the .270 range, he'll have a good shot at eclipsing 30 stolen bases for the second time in his career.(RotoWire, )

News: Escobar was 1-for-3 with three RBI in Monday's 4-2 victory over the Rays. Impact: Escobar gave the Royals a surge in the bottom of the sixth, launching a three-run double that put them ahead of the Rays, 4-0. Escobar has hit ninth in the order in every game this season, but with Omar Infante (mouth) set to miss a few days, there's a chance he could move up to second, where he has experience hitting in the past. This could allow Escobar a few more opportunities to produce for fantasy owners, and potentially help him break out of his early season slump.(RotoWire, )
