News: Logan looked dominant in his first full inning of the season in Friday's loss to the Giants, striking out all three batters he faced. Impact: After Matt Belisle allowed the first two hitters to reach base in the top of the ninth, manager Walt Weiss summoned Logan to keep the game in check. He made sure the Rockies maintained their one-run deficit, stranding both runners by striking out two lefties (Brandon Belt and Brandon Crawford) and a right-hander (Brandon Hicks). Logan will continue to see lots of high-leverage work at the back of the Colorado 'pen.(RotoWire, )

News: Logan was activated from the 15-day disabled list Monday, MLB.com reports. Impact: Logan had experienced some elbow inflammation earlier in the spring, but looked healthy enough during his rehab assignment Thursday with Triple-A Colorado Springs to get the activation. Lefties have hit just .243 off Logan in his career, making him a valuable component of the Rockies' bullpen. Corey Dickerson was sent to Triple-A to make room for Logan on the 25-man roster.(RotoWire, )
