News: Crawford (oblique) is back in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Giants. Impact: After missing two games with tightness in his side, Crawford will return to the lineup to take on right-hander Tim Lincecum. The 32-year-old Crawford has gone 6-for-14 in his last three games, and is 3-for-7 with a triple in his career against Lincecum.(RotoWire, )

News: Crawford is experiencing tightness in his side and will be out of the lineup for the second consecutive day Sunday, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports. Impact: Crawford will get another day of rest to allow his soreness to clear up, giving Andre Either the chance to start in left field with Matt Kemp in center. The Dodgers have plenty of outfield depth, giving them no reason to rush Crawford back from this ailment.(RotoWire, )

News: Crawford is taking a seat Saturday at Arizona, who's sending out starter Wade Miley, a southpaw, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. Impact: Out for the first time in five games, Crawford will rest on a three-game hitting streak, during which he's strafed to the tune of a .429 average (6-for-14) with three doubles, one RBI, one run scored, two stolen bases, and a 2:2 BB:K. Meanwhile, he'll hand left field to Scott Van Slyke, who is batting fifth in the Dodgers' lineup.(RotoWire, )

News: Crawford went 2-for-5 with a steal against the Tigers on Wednesday. Impact: The base Crawford stole was home and his fourth on the season -- he swiped just 15 all of last year. In a crowded Dodgers outfield, Crawford has started all but one game in April.(RotoWire, )

News: Crawford had his best game of the season Tuesday, going 3-for-5 and knocking in the game-winning run on a 10th-inning double against the Tigers. Impact: This was just the second RBI for the Dodgers outfielder, who also stole his third base of the season. While his eight hits, three swipes and .296 batting average are all right, Crawford hasn't done much by way of RBI (two), runs (three) or home runs (none) in seven games this season. If Crawford can come anywhere close to his totals of 110 runs, 184 hits, 19 homers, 47 stolen bases and .307 batting average from 2010 with the Rays, owners would be ecstatic. Unfortunately, he just hasn't been the same since leaving the Sunshine State for Beantown in 2011, so a sudden renaissance for the 32-year-old is highly improbable.(RotoWire, )

News: Crawford is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Giants. Impact: With a tough lefty in Madison Bumgarner on the mound for the opposition, manager Don Mattingly will take the opportunity to get Crawford a breather. Scott Van Slyke will start in left field and bat sixth. The 32-year-old Crawford has hit safely in each of his first four games to begin the season, and while the outfield situation in Los Angeles is crowded now that Matt Kemp is active, Crawford will likely continue to see the majority of the starts in left.(RotoWire, )
