| News: Figgins, making his second straight start, doubled Monday for his first hit since April 29, breaking an 0-for-24 slump. | Impact: Figgins was ostensibly in the lineup again because he had good numbers against the starting pitcher (albeit only 4-for-4). Back-to-back starts after barely seeing the field the previous month? Perhaps the Mariners are trying once more to demonstrate some value in hopes of a trade. But is a trade even worth it at this point? No one is giving up anything more than a couple of rosin bags and some pine tar for Figgins, and maybe a million or two of Figgins' $15 million owed.
