News: After throwing a simulated game Sunday, Kershaw intends for a rehab start to be the next step in his recovery, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports. Impact: Kershaw has been progressing through a "submaximal rehab program," but the intensity of Sunday's simulated games and recent bullpen sessions have suggested that the ace is ahead of schedule in his recovery. If he does in fact move on to a rehab start in the minors as his next step, it would imply that will take the mound for the Dodgers prior to his original mid-May return estimate. Provided he avoids any setbacks, a rehab start could also produce a target return date over the coming days.(RotoWire, )
