News: Granderson (forearm/ribs/knee) is expected to return to the Mets' lineup Friday against the Braves, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. Impact: Granderson sustained his array of ailments in a crash into the outfield wall Monday, requiring the requisite few days of rest. Prior to the misstep, he had a four-game hitting streak in hand, during which he hit .267 (4-for-15) with one double, one RBI, and two runs scored. Expect Andrew Brown to handle right field in the interim.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson (forearm/ribs/knee) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, Adam Rubin of reports. News: Granderson (forearm/ribs/knee) will avoid the disabled list for now, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post. Impact: The Mets' lineup for Tuesday's game against Arizona has not been released yet, but Granderson's name figures to remain on the lineup card as an option off the bench, even if he's unable to start. His teammate Juan Lagares appears to be headed for a DL stint, however.(RotoWire, )

News: X-rays were negative on Granderson's injured left forearm, rib cage and knee following his departure from Monday's game in Arizona, according to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York. Impact: Granderson crashed into an outfield wall and lost, though it sounds like he may just have some scrapes and bruises. The day after merits watching, but for now it looks like Granderson may have escaped serious injury. Assuming nothing substantial develops, we'll see if the team gives him a day or two off ahead of Thursday's team off-day.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson, who crashed into the outfield wall early in Monday's game, was later removed from the contest in the sixth inning,'s Anthony DiComo reports. Impact: Granderson was reportedly grabbing his wrist after crashing into the wall, and his removal later on came when the game was within three runs. He was almost certainly taken out as a result of the injury, yet still managed to get an RBI single between the time he was injured and left. With Juan Lagares also exiting Monday's game with an injury -- likely to his hamstring -- the Mets may not have such a crowd in the outfield once Chris Young (quad) returns. That could be good news for owners of Eric Young, Chris Young, and Andrew Brown, but Granderson is above the mess.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson hit a two-run home run, his first of the year, in the Mets' 6-3 win over the Reds on Saturday. Impact: The New York faithful booed Granderson, after he went 0-for-9 with five strikeouts in his first two games, but he's vindicated himself by notching four extra-base hits in three games since.(RotoWire, )

News: Granderson got his first two hits as a Met on Thursday, collecting a pair of doubles and an RBI in four at-bats. Impact: He'd been 0-for-9 with five strikeouts in his first two games since crossing town from the Yankees to the Mets. Grandy's still looking for his first homer in the blue and orange, but he should end up socking a good number of 'em out of the cleanup spot this year.(RotoWire, )
