News: Pauley has been designated for assignment, Angels broadcaster Victor Rojas reports. Impact: Pauley allowed 18 baserunners in just 9.1 innings. He'll probably have to settle with a minor-league job somewhere, whether it's with the Angels or elsewhere.(RotoWire, )

News: The Angels designated Pauley for assignment. Impact: Pauley had appeared in just four games since his contract was purchased from Salt Lake on May 7. Pauley was 0-1 with a 4.82 ERA and was deemed expendable because the Angels were carrying 13 pitchers on their roster.(STATS, 9:17pm)

News: Pauley earned his first decision in four appearances with the Angels, a loss Sunday at San Diego. Impact: The Padres tagged Pauley for an unearned run Sunday as teammate Howard Kendrick bobbled a Will Venable single in the 13th inning, allowing Clayton Richard to score from first. Don't expect Pauley to be called upon in too many important situations going forward.(RotoWire, )
