News: Hernandez struggled in Monday's loss to the Astros, allowing six runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk over seven innings. Impact: Hernandez cruised through the first four innings, before giving up a two-run homer to Matt Dominguez in the fifth, followed by an error-aided, four-run rally in the sixth. He only struck out four batters against one of the league's lesser teams, but there's no real cause for concern with his ERA sitting at 2.04 through five starts, backed up by a gorgeous 43:3 K:BB ratio. Next up for King Felix is a likely Saturday home outing against the Rangers.(RotoWire, )

News: Hernandez pitched a strong seven-plus innings Friday against the A's with 11 strikeouts, no walks and four hits allowed, giving up only two runs thanks to a leaky bullpen to move to 3-0. Impact: Hernandez retired the first 10 batters and gave up only one hard hit, a double. He came out for the eighth inning despite being at 100 pitches but was pulled after a hit batter and a single. Unfortunately, the bullpen couldn't hold it there and the two runners scored. Nevertheless, Felix dominated again. In three starts this season, he has 30 strikeouts and two walks.(RotoWire, )
