News: Ramirez (hand) is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Diamondbacks. Impact: An errant Ryan Vogelsong pitch plunked Ramirez in the hand Wednesday, but X-rays were negative and it looks like he'll end up missing just one start. There's always a chance the hand doesn't respond well during batting practice, but Ramirez is currently penciled into his usual spots -- shortstop and the three-hole in the batting order -- to take on left-hander Wade Miley.(RotoWire, )

News: Ramirez (hand) said he expects to return to the lineup Friday against the Diamondbacks, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports. Impact: Ramirez is dealing with a bruised hand rather than any sort of fracture, and manager Don Mattingly indicated that the shortstop would be back in the lineup as soon as he'd be able to grip a bat. Fortunately for fantasy owners, it appears he's at least close to reaching that point, so it could only be a one-game absence.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Ramirez left the game after taking a Ryan Vogelsong pitch off his left hand and appeared to be in severe discomfort. Dodger fans and fantasy owners appear to have dodged a bullet however, as the X-rays didn't show any broken bones in the hand. He'll be considered day-to-day for the time being.(RotoWire, )
