News: Noesi has been designated for assignment, following the recall of Nick Martinez, Rangers' VP of Communications John Blake reports. Impact: The right-hander had been shelled to the tune of an 11.81 ERA in 5.1 innings for the Rangers so far this season, so he was off the fantasy map to begin with.(RotoWire, )

News: Noesi was crushed for seven runs on seven hits, walking one and striking out one in a single inning of work against the White Sox on Sunday afternoon. Impact: Acquired from the Mariners just seven days ago, Noesi served as the sacrificial lamb in this one as the White Sox cruised to a 16-2 win. He struggled in Seattle and following this game his ERA now stands at an abysmal 14.21, so the Rangers might be second-guessing their decision to add him. Don't expect him to see any high-leverage situations in the near future.(RotoWire, )

News: Noesi made his Rangers debut Monday, throwing 2.1 innings of shutout ball. Impact: Noesi got off to a rough start with the Mariners this season, but the early returns for the Rangers look good. The reliever will be used in low-leverage situations for the time being.(RotoWire, )

News: The Texas Rangers have acquired right-hander Hector Noesi from the Seattle Mariners for a player to be named or cash. Impact: Noesi was designated for assignment by Seattle on April 4 after two relief appearances during the first week of the season. He was 0-1 while allowing three runs in one inning of work. He has a 4-16 career record with a 5.64 ERA in 66 games (21 starts) for the New York Yankees (2011) and Seattle (2012-14).(STATS, 6:15pm)

News: Noesi will be added to the Rangers' 25-man roster in the coming days. Impact: After wearing out his welcome in Seattle, Noesi was traded to the Rangers on Saturday for a player to be named later or cash considerations. The right-hander has been knocked around to the tune of a 5.64 ERA in his major league career but does have a decent fastball that sits right around 93 mph, so the Rangers will at least give him a look in the bullpen.(RotoWire, )

News: The Mariners traded Noesi to the Rangers on Saturday for a player to be named later or cash, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports. Impact: The M's had seen enough, after Noesi gave up three runs (including a walkoff homer) in his first two appearances of the year, designating him for assignment last week. At 27, he's struggled at the major league level and Triple-A, but at worst, he's organizational filler for Texas.(RotoWire, )
