News: Lackey was knocked around again Friday night, allowing six runs on 10 hits, walking four and striking out six while lasting just 5.1 innings of an 8-4 loss to Baltimore. Impact: That's consecutive outings allowing six runs in less than six innings, driving his ERA to a rather ugly 5.25 and evening his record at 2-2 on the year. Last time out he gave up four long balls, and while he kept the ball in the park in this one, the Orioles threatened throughout. He'll try to get back on track at home against the Yankees in his next start.(RotoWire, )

News: Lackey gave up four home runs in Saturday's loss to the Yankees. Impact: All in all, Lackey allowed six runs on 10 hits and zero walks, while striking out six over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was shaking his head in frustration quite a bit Saturday, as he watched Brian McCann homer twice, while Carlos Beltran and Alfonso Soriano both left the yard as well. It was a performance to forget, but Lackey gave up just two runs in his first two starts (13 innings).(RotoWire, )

News: Lackey held the Rangers to one unearned run over seven innings to pick up his second win of the season Monday night. Impact: Lackey struck out five and gave up five hits and two walks, beating a strong offensive team for the second time in two tries this season. So far, he looks like the pitcher we saw in 2013, rather than the guy who took a beating in 2010 and 2011. The veteran right-hander draws a better matchup next time out, as he's scheduled to face the Yankees in the Bronx on Saturday.(RotoWire, )
