News: De La Rosa fell to 0-3 on the season Wednesday, giving up three runs (two earned) over six innings. He struck out four batters and scattered seven hits and a walk. Impact: It was the first quality start in De La Rosa's four turns on the season, but he was simply no match for the Padres' Andrew Cashner, who held the Rockies to one run over 7.1 innings. Despite a fastball that has actually picked up two miles per hour in velocity from a season earlier, De La Rosa has yet to yield any positive results. He's compiled a 7.58 ERA and 1.42 WHIP over 19 innings of work.(RotoWire, )

News: De La Rosa's struggles continued in Colorado's 6-5 loss to San Francisco on Friday. Impact: De La Rosa (0-2, 9.69 ERA) failed to make it out of the fifth inning for the third consecutive start while giving up a season-high six runs.(STATS, 2:11pm)

News: De La Rosa was dealt his second loss of the season Friday, allowing six earned runs on four hits and two walks with six strikeouts over 4.1 innings. Impact: De La Rosa was cruising early, but unraveled in the fourth inning when he gave up a grand slam to opposing pitcher Madison Bumgarner. Oddly enough, De La Rosa has gone exactly 4.1 innings in each of his three starts this season, but the 33-year-old tossed just 81 pitches Friday, so he should be fresh for his next time out against the Padres.(RotoWire, )

News: De La Rosa scuffled throughout Saturday's outing against the Diamondbacks, taking a no-decision after allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits and three walks over 4.1 innings. Impact: The Rockies' nominal ace with Jhoulys Chacin opening the season on the DL, De La Rosa has now provided two abbreviated starts for the Rockies. He's struggled with his command to open the season, needing 101 pitches just to record 13 outs Saturday.(RotoWire, )
