News: Nicasio settled in and threw six solid innings to help save a depleted bullpen as the Rockies got a rare road win with a 3-2 win over the San Diego Padres on Tuesday night. Impact: The right-hander couldn't have started much worse by allowing two runs in the first inning when the first four Padres each got a hit. Although Nicasio got out of the inning with no more damage, his pitch count was already to 31 pitches before he settled in against the light-hitting Padres as he allowed just two hits over his last five innings to improve to 2-0.(STATS, 12:11pm)

News: Nicasio was decent in his first road start of the season Tuesday, striking out three while allowing two runs on six hits against the Padres. He pitched six full innings and picked up his second win of the season. Impact: Although it's probably a coincidence, an interesting tidbit is that in his two previous starts at hitter-friendly Coors Field, he struck out twice as many (six) batters as he did at Petco Park. Nonetheless, Nicasio has been a sturdy No. 4 in the Rockies' rotation, and will bring his 2-0 record, 3.50 ERA and 1.22 WHIP to Citizens Bank Park to take on the Phillies on Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Nicasio surrendered four runs on eight hits and two walks over five innings to come away with a no-decision Wednesday against the White Sox. Impact: Nicasio exited the game with a 4-3 deficit, only to watch the Rockies score seven unanswered runs to turn the contest into a rout. While he wasn't able to claim his second win of the season for fantasy owners, he at least chipped in with a respectable six strikeouts.(RotoWire, )

News: Nicasio was impressive in his season debut, limiting the Diamondbacks to four hits and one run over seven innings of Friday's 12-2 victory. Impact: Nicasio isn't thought of as much of a fantasy commodity, but he could become one with more performances like Friday's.(STATS, 6:23pm)
