News: Lohse cruised through seven innings of work Wednesday, allowing five hits and two runs (one earned) to go along with five strikeouts, improving his record to 4-1 on the season. Impact: After losing to the Braves his first time out April 1, Lohse has been nearly lights out since then, winning four consecutive starts and allowing one earned run or less in his past three. He also surrendered zero free passes Wednesday, a good sign considering his 10 walks allowed in his previous four starts. Lohse now has a 2.38 ERA on the season, and although his career ERA of 4.33 suggests this may be headed for a spike, his 2014 FIP of 2.85 shows that he may be able to sustain this for at least a bit longer.(RotoWire, )
