News: Buehrle improved to 4-0 after pitching shutout ball into the eighth inning Saturday. Impact: Buehrle lowered his ERA to 0.64 in four starts. The 34-year-old left-hander, who once pitched a perfect game, was pulled after giving up a single and walk to start the eighth. He allowed four hits overall, struck out three and walked three. "I haven't changed anything in 10 or 11 years," he said. "I'm not going to keep asking questions. I'm going to go out there and run with it and see what happens." Fantasy owners shouldn't question this success either!(STATS, 1:54pm)

News: Buehrle allowed four hits and three walks, while striking out three over seven shutout innings, in a win over the Indians on Saturday. Impact: Buehrle's improbable start to the 2014 campaign continued Saturday, as he improved to 4-0 with another shutdown performance. He's allowed just two runs through 28 innings thus far, while allowing five or fewer hits in three of his four outings. The pace he's on is clearly unsustainable, but the left-hander looks like a completely different pitcher this season.(RotoWire, )

News: Buehrle improved to 3-0 after limiting Baltimore to one run and five hits over seven innings on Sunday. Impact: Buerhle is turning back the clock a bit with a 0.86 ERA through his first three starts.(STATS, 5:59pm)

News: Buehrle turned in seven strong frames, giving up just one run on five hits while striking out two en route to picking up the win versus the Orioles Sunday afternoon. Impact: Now sporting a perfect 3-0 record three starts into the campaign, Buehrle has been simply dominant over the first couple of weeks of 2014. The veteran southpaw is currently holding a 0.86 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and a 16:2 K:BB across 21 innings to this point. A 35-year-old owner of 189 career victories, Buehrle seems to have plenty left in the tank.(RotoWire, )

News: Buehrle allowed one run in 5 1-3 innings, earning the win in Tuesday's 5-2 victory over Houston. Impact: Fantasy owners couldn't have asked for a better start to the season from Buehrle, who has posted a sparkling 0.64 ERA in winning each of his first two starts. He's scheduled to face the Orioles in Baltimore in his next outing. (STATS, 9:24pm)

News: Buehrle allowed eight hits Tuesday, but just one earned run, while striking out three against the Astros en route to his second win of the season. Impact: This just goes to show that Buehrle, while often a very competent pitcher, is not the K-machine he appeared to be in his first start of the season when he fanned 11 Rays in 8.2 innings. Still, it's been an excellent start to the season for Buehrle, who received very little fanfare in the preseason.(RotoWire, )
Thu. Apr 3, 2014
News: Buehrle came within an out of going the distance in his first start of the season, instead allowing four hits over 8 2/3 shutout innings in Wednesday's win at Tampa Bay. Impact: Believe it or not, Buehrle's 11 strikeouts marked the second-highest total of his career. He struck out 12 in a win over Seattle with the White Sox on April 16, 2005. Either way it's a good sign for owners after Buehrle's disappointing 2013.(STATS, 6:41pm)
