News: Prado (finger) is batting fourth and starting at third base Saturday, Arizona Republic's Nick Piecoro reports. Impact: Prado wasn't expected to miss much time and apparently will not. He's off to a 4-for-28 start, but there aren't any underlying concerns, and he'll likely put the slow start behind him soon enough.(RotoWire, )

News: Prado is expected to return from the finger laceration that he suffered during Friday's game in a day or two, the Arizona Republic reports. Impact: No stitches were required, so Prado could be back before the end of the weekend series against the Rockies. It may be a case where manager Kirk Gibson decides to give Eric Chavez his first start of the season Saturday in order to give Prado a day to heal up. Prado is 4-for-28 (.143) through the first seven games this season.(RotoWire, )

News: Prado was removed from Friday's game with a laceration on his left index finger. Impact: No stitches were required to close the wound so removing him was just a precaution. Maybe he takes the day off Saturday to let it heal, but this doesn't seem to be anything with which to be concerned. Consider him day-to-day.(RotoWire, )
