News: The Indians transferred Perez (shoulder) to the 60-day disabled list Saturday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. Impact: Perez is making progress in his recovery, but with a return still a couple weeks away, the Indians opted to transfer him to the longer DL to open a spot on the 40-man roster. News: The Cleveland Indians have placed Perez on the 15-day disabled list with a strained side muscle. Impact: Perez got hurt on Wednesday while pitching one scoreless inning against Kansas City. The left-hander is 1-0 with a 3.52 ERA in eight appearances. This is the first time in his career he's been on the disabled list. He's eligible to be activated on May 11.(STATS, 2:22am)
