News: Strasburg had his good stuff going Sunday against the Cardinals, striking out nine and allowing two runs over six innings while taking a no-decision. Impact: After getting torched for six runs on eight hits and three walks by the Marlins on Tuesday, Strasburg came back strong to salvage the week for his fantasy owners. His ERA remains bloated at 5.33 and he still only has one win to his name, so the buy-low window may still remain open, but probably not for long.(RotoWire, )

News: Strasburg got roughed up Tuesday by the Marlins, giving up six runs on eight hits and three walks, while striking out five in just four innings. Impact: He needed 81 pitches to get through four innings, and seemed to be getting an awful lot of the zone on certain pitches, specifically a Giancarlo Stanton home run that has yet to land. Strasburg was dynamite in his last outing, so his owners know what he's capable of. This was just the fifth time in his career that he's given up six-plus runs, and it's certainly possible that he could go the rest of 2014 without doing so again.(RotoWire, )

News: Strasburg struck out 12 in 6 2-3 innings - on a day Washington really needed to rest its relievers - and led the Nationals past the Miami Marlins 7-1 on Thursday for a three-game sweep. Impact: Strasburg (1-1) got 14 consecutive outs in one stretch and allowed only three hits, including Marcell Ozuna's homer in the seventh. The right-hander's lone walk was to the last batter he faced. Strasburg lasted 4 1-3 innings in his previous start, a 6-2 loss to Atlanta on Sunday, and he entered Thursday 0-1 with a 6.10 ERA. But with the temperature 67 degrees at the unusual 4:05 p.m. start, and shadows creeping across the diamond, he was much better against Miami, mixing a 95-96 mph fastball with a seemingly unhittable changeup.(STATS, 6:14pm)

News: Strasburg (1-1) struck out a cool dozen Marlins and allowed just one run on three hits and a walk over 6.2 innings Thursday. Impact: A Marcell Ozuna homer was the only blemish on Strasburg's record as the Nats swept Miami. The star hurler's owners have to be relieved after he allowed 10 runs (seven earned) over 10.1 innings in his first two starts.(RotoWire, )
