| News: Lincecum has been dealing with a blister issue, CSN Bay Area reports. | Impact: Lincecum feels fine physically, aside from the blister issue that crops up on the middle finger on his right hand. It happens because of the way the side of his nail rubs against his finger when he throws his slider. He confirmed to Andrew Baggarly that the blister issue, not elbow or arm fears, is the reason he planned to stay away from throwing the slider this spring – a plan he scrapped after one start. Lincecum said he's got to get tougher and pitch through any discomfort the blister causes.
