News: Koehler pitched well in a no-decision Monday, holding the Braves to two runs on five hits in 6.1 innings. He walked two and struck out eight. Impact: Koehler has had a very nice start to his season, allowing just six earned runs in 25.1 innings pitched. He has gone at least six innings in every start and has allowed no more than two earned runs in any outing. The righty will look to continue his strong start to the season when he faces the Mets on the road this weekend.(RotoWire, )

News: Koehler out-pitched Stephen Strasburg on Tuesday and it wasn't even close. The Marlins' righty tossed seven innings of shutout ball, allowing just one hit with five walks and three strikeouts, notching his second win of the season. Impact: He went pretty deep into Tuesday's game, throwing 112 pitches, in part because of all the free passes he issued. Over his last 13 innings, all against the Nationals, he has given up just two runs on six hits. It's possible he just really knows how to attack Washington, but his 1.89 ERA is hard to ignore. He's going to pitch to contact (just a 15.3 percent K-rate in 2013) and walk a decent amount of hitters (nine percent walk rate in 2013), so it's hard to see this stretch continuing much longer.(RotoWire, )

News: Koehler (1-1) delivered six strong innings Thursday in Washington, allowing two runs on five hits, but was stuck with the loss. He struck out six and walked two. Impact: Koehler's delivered a pair of solid starts to open the season, and after he struck out just one batter in his first start, it's promising to see him fan six this time. His lone real mistake on the day was Jayson Werth's two-run homer, which was all the Nats needed to support Stephen Strasburg.(RotoWire, )
