News: Snider, who could receive punishment Tuesday for his role in Sunday's brawl against the Brewers, delivered a pinch-hit single Monday. News: Snider has avoided any concussion symptoms or fractures following his involvement in Sunday's bench-clearing brawl, Travis Sawchik of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports. Impact: Snider remains out of the lineup for the fourth straight game Monday, but the good news is that it doesn't appear to be injury-related. Cole, upset with Gomez for flipping his bat after hitting the ball, stormed toward third base after Gomez slid in safely. Impact: Gomez took a couple steps toward Cole before players from both dugouts and the bullpens entered the field. Gomez and Snider shoved one another before Gomez fell to the ground. Pirates catcher Russell Martin had to be restrained by teammate Gaby Sanchez as he walked off the field.(STATS, 2:49pm)
