News: Rosenthal allowed a run on two hits in recording his fourth save of the season closing out the Cardinals' 6-4 over the Cubs on Sunday. Impact: Rosenthal is off to a bumpy start this season with a 7.36 ERA, but he hasn't blown a save and besides taking a loss in an extra-inning game has been fairly reliable. He should have a fairly long leash and would need to struggle for a while before the Cardinals considered another option.(RotoWire, )

News: Rosenthal struggled somewhat Friday against the Cubs, taking his first loss while pitching two innings and allowing three runs on two hits and a walk. Impact: Rosenthal was done in by a three-run home run from Welington Castillo with two outs in the 11th. It's a small hiccup, as the young fireballer was asked to go multiple innings. He'll likely be unavailable for Saturday's game.(RotoWire, )

News: Rosenthal fanned two en route to his third save of the season in Tuesday's 7-5 comeback win over the Reds. He needed just 13 pitches to get all three outs in the ninth. Impact: The 23-year-old fireballer is now 3-for-3 in save opportunities this year and has already tied his total from last season, when he worked primarily as the Cards' set-up man. Owners will be especially pleased to see that Rosenthal was able to bounce back without issue after giving up two runs and two walks in a non-save situation 24 hours prior.(RotoWire, )

News: Rosenthal struggled in a non-save situation, allowing two runs in his only inning against the Reds on Monday. Impact: The Cardinals' closer allowed two hits and surrendered two walks in the inning. Rosenthal has two hitless innings in two save chances this year, and there's no reason to believe that he won't continue to have success in the closer role moving forward.(RotoWire, )

News: Rosenthal picked up his second save of the season Thursday, striking out one in a perfect four-out appearance for a 7-6 win against the Reds. Impact: Rosenthal has saved both of the Cardinals' wins this season and looked solid while doing it. He's off to an excellent start in what could be a good season for the young closer.(RotoWire, )
