News: Molina went 4-for-4 with his eighth home run of the season Tuesday against the Braves. Impact: It's been something of a year of the catcher, and as such Yadier Molina's fantastic start (.337/.379/.556) has gone a bit under the radar. So far, he has very much played to the level his new 5-year, $75 million contract has demanded. Don't expect the average to stay quite so high, but the power he's shown early on is very encouraging.(RotoWire, )

News: Molina (dehydration) went 1-for-5 while catching all nine innings Monday in the win over Atlanta. Impact: Everything appears to be OK for him after an early exit Sunday, so look for Molina to continue receiving a heavy workload as the Cards' primary backstop.(RotoWire, )

News: Molina was taken out of the game during an at-bat in the fifth inning against the Phillies and the Cardinals said he was dehydrated. Impact: Molina, who's batting .325 with seven homers and 28 RBIs, was lifted as a precaution, the team said. Molina was 2 for 2, hitting his third career grand slam in the first inning off Roy Halladay and singling in the fourth. He left with a 2-1 count with two outs and none on in the fifth after meeting with a trainer and manager Mike Matheny.(STATS, 4:17pm)

News: Molina was removed from Sunday's game due to dehydration, the FOX Sports Midwest's B.J. Rains reports. Impact: Molina was removed for precautionary reasons, and there's no reason to think that he'll miss extended time. The Cardinals have another day game Monday, so it's possible he'll get a day off to be safe. We'll know more leading up to Monday's game against the Braves.(RotoWire, )

News: Molina is back in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies, the Cardinals' official Twitter page reports. Impact: Molina started nine straight before taking a seat Saturday in favor of Tony Cruz. It's safe to put Molina, who's batting an impressive .316/.363/.513 on the year, back into fantasy lineups though he's just 1-for-5 in his career against Roy Halladay.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Molina has picked up six hits over his last two games, but since he has started the last nine straight, he will get a day off Thursday. Tony Cruz will bat seventh and catch Jaime Garcia on Saturday.(RotoWire, )

News: Molina went 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Thursday's loss to Philadelphia. Impact: Molina continues to perform at a high level, outproducing catchers like Mike Napoli and Brian McCann, who were generally drafted ahead of him.(RotoWire, )
