The Yanks’ strong play of late pushes them up to second overall, while the Indians tumble to ninth thanks to five straight losses — is Cleveland’s stay atop the AL Central about to end? And perhaps we can chalk it up to the emotional response of Buster Posey’s injury, but the Giants played well in the MVP-caliber backstop’s absence.
