SAN DIEGO (AP) - The San Diego Padres have outrighted utilityman Edgar Gonzalez to Triple-A Portland, moving him off the 40-man roster.

He is the older brother of first baseman Adrian Gonzalez.

Edgar Gonzalez was on the disabled list from mid-July to early September after getting hit in the head with a pitch.
