--RHP Johnny Cueto (elbow) reported no pain after making 20 throws on flat ground before Friday's game. He was scheduled to long toss Saturday and possibly throw in the bullpen on Tuesday.

--San Francisco became the last team to visit Great American Ball Park for the first time this season.

--Friday's game was the first to be played at Great American Ball Park under Major League Baseball's new instant-replay rules. Replay wasn't needed.

--2B Brandon Phillips logged the 100th two-base hit of his career with a line drive down the left-field line and into the corner with two outs in the first inning.

--LF Jolbert Cabrera snapped an 0-for-15 slump with a double to lead off Cincinnati's four-run fourth inning.

BY THE NUMBERS: 1 -- Complete games by the Reds starting pitchers through Aug. 26, the day RHP Bronson Arroyo went the route to beat the Astros.
