TV/radio: SportsTime Ohio tonight and Sunday, WKYC Ch. 3 Saturday; WTAM AM/1100.

Series: This will be the first meeting of the season between the A's and Indians . A's lead, 237-210, overall.

Pitching matchups: LHP David Huff (3-3, 6.26) vs. RHP Trevor Cahill (5-6, 4.23) at 7:05 tonight; RHP Carl Pavano (6-7, 5.56) vs. RHP Vin Mazzaro (2-3, 2.95) at 7:05 p.m. Saturday; LHP Cliff Lee (4-7, 3.39) vs. LHP Brett Anderson (4-7, 5.45) at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.

Indians update: They have lost five straight and 14 of their past 17 games. Who's hot: Travis Hafner (12-for-36) and Jhonny Peralta (15-for-50). Who's not: Luis Valbuena (1-for-26) and Grady Sizemore (10-for-48).

A's update: They have lost seven of their past 10 and nine of their past 15, but took two out of three from Detroit before heading east to play the Tribe. Ryan Sweeney, who hit .700 (7-for-10) against the Tribe last year, hit .357 (15-for-42) in June. Jack Cust hit .180 (18-for-100) in June with six homers and 13 RBI.

Injuries: Indians - LHP Aaron Laffey (right oblique), RHP Anthony Reyes (right elbow), LHP Scott Lewis (left forearm), RHP Jake Westbrook (right elbow) and RHP Rafael Betancourt (right groin) are on the disabled list. A's - 3B Eric Chavez (back), RHP Joey Devine (right elbow), RHP Dan Giese (right elbow), RHP Justin Duchscherer (right elbow) and LHP Josh Outman (left elbow) are on the DL.

Next for Indians : Tribe opens a three-game series Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.
