Castro ($2.45), Guzman ($1.3M) agree with Astros
Castro gets a raise to $2.45 million from $496,600, and Guzman's salary increases to $1.3 million from $503,200.
The 26-year-old Castro hit .276 with 18 home runs and 56 RBIs in 120 games, setting single-season team records for a catcher with his homers, doubles (35), runs scored (63) and extra-base hits (54).
Guzman, 29, was acquired from San Diego last month for infielder Ryan Jackson. Guzman played in 126 games for the Padres in 2013, hitting 17 doubles, nine homers and knocking in 35 RBIs. He started at four different positions.
